Animals At The Indianapolis Zoo Love Winter, And So Should You

Cold weather brings out the best in some beasts at the Indianapolis Zoo. And, when you brave chilly temperatures you're rewarded with interactions with animals that might not be as active in warmer months. Seals and sea lions, walruses, polar bears, tigers, red pandas, brown bears and more truly enjoy the colder weather. Plus: Since the Zoo typically has lighter crowds this time of year, you get a more personal experience.
Want to warm up for a few minutes? Walk among the cold-blooded creatures inside the Deserts Dome, take a tropical stroll through the Hilbert Conservatory, see penguins being fed in the Oceans exhibit, catch a Dolphin Adventure Show and watch researchers working with great apes inside the Simon Skjodt International Orangutan Center. There plenty to experience year-round at the Indianapolis Zoo!
Getting There:
The Indianapolis Zoo is located in White River State Park in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. To plan your visit go to www.IndianapolisZoo.com.
