Spring and Summer are the ideal times to explore unique destinations and attractions like the Huntsville Botanical Garden. Here, nature shows off its creative around every corner with beautiful blossoms and foliage. There's always something peaceful about walking through a garden, and this is the case at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens.

Open May through September, the Nature Center is a great place to visit, and including with admission. Overlooking the entrance pond, the Nature Center is home to thousands of native butterflies, tadpoles, frogs, frogs, button quail, turtles and other critters. Waterfall, ponds, streams, lush vegetation and flowering plants create a natural paradise for nature lovers of all ages to enjoy. Afterwards, relax and sample refreshments in the tea room, enjoy a picnic, or take in the natural beauty of the gardens from pavilion.

Did You Know? - The Huntsville Botanical Gardens Nature Center houses the nation's largest open-aired butterfly house.

Located at 4747 Bob Wallace Ave. in Huntsville, AL, Huntsville Botanical Garden, also host many festivals throughout the year, including the Spring Festival of Flowers, the Scarecrow Trail that takes place at the end of August, and Galaxy of Lights that takes place from Thanksgiving through New Year's Eve.

The Galaxy of Lights is especially fun for families when larger-than-life animated light displays create a festive holiday season. Children can visit with Santa and find nursery rhyme characters frolicking among traditional scenes of the season. And, best of all, experience the magic of the twinkling icicle forest. Galaxy of Lights is the perfect holiday treat for the young and young-at-heart.
