Also held in Mid August is the Ya Maka My Weekend that celebrates all things with a Caribbean flair. Nearby the end of September you can let your spirit take flight at the annual Quad Cities Kite Festival. Bring your camera and catch the stunt kite performances and giant kites flying high.
